* Which kinds of branches to prune and which to keep.
* Why different kinds of trees should be pruned differently.
In the last year here at Neighborhood Fruit, we have gotten numerous requests from charitable gleaning organizations for a data management system specifically designed for their needs, similar to the consumer-facing services we currently offer on Neighborhood Fruit, and we need your help!
Beginning Farmers is a wonderful online resource to help people get into farming. They have information about financing, educational opportunities, grazing and cropping techniques, marketing, risk management, composting and more in an easy to use, intuitive format.

We are very excited about this year's Arbor Day! Arbor Day is a day when communities celebrate things that are near and dear to our hearts here at Neighborhood Fruit - trees! The Fruit Girls will be joining the celebration here in our home city of San Francisco and we strongly encourage you to join the celebration in your community. Regardless of where you are, and when Arbor Day falls in your area, we would like to encourage you to get out and plant a fruit tree.
