Usage:
Kiwi are great eaten fresh, or peeled and made into a compote. On a salad, they are dramatic and colorful.
Factoids:
Kiwi acts as a natural blood thinner. A recent study at the University of Oslo in Norway found that consuming two to three kiwifruit daily for a month reduces the risk of blood clots and lowers blood-borne fat that can cause blockages.
