Physical Description:
Lime trees have pointed ovulate leaves that are slightly grayish on the bottom. The leaves aren't as large as orange trees, but they are the same shade of bright emerald green.
Usage:
Limes are delicious in beverages, soups, and curries. The leaves of the Keiffer Lime are added to many Indian and Thai dishes.
Factoids:
British sailors used to be known by the nickname of "Limeys" because they were issued limes every day to prevent scurvy on long voyages.
