Physical Description: 

The trees are medium-large with large, shady leaves. Loquats fruits are yellow to orange in color, have thick skins, and three large, brown seeds.

Usage: 

Loquats are delicious, tangy fruits and great eaten fresh. Some people eat the skins, some peel them. Also used to make savory fruit preserves like chutney. Important: The seeds and young leaves are slightly toxic!

Loquat Syrup, known as Pi Pa Gao is a popular traditional Chinese cough syrup and expectorant!
