Notes from the Maker Faire 2010

Fruit Girls had so much fun at the Maker Faire this past weekend! It was three days of meeting great people, learning how to build anything, and so much fun! Neighborhood Fruit featured its Cornucopia Tree, demonstrating safe and fun ways of picking fruit for everyone. "What's In Season?" challenge took many of our visitors. Seasonality of mango was definitely the hardest one for everyone, where everyone knew when cherries are ready to eat.

Highlights: 9 out of 10 people we talked to have fruit trees - yes, more than one! - in their backyard, and they are looking forward to sharing their fruit with Neighborhood Fruit community.

And the last, but not the least: We are proud to infrom you that Neighborhood Fruit won Maker Faire Editor's Choice Award!
