The rules are simple: submit a pie recipe using local and seasonal ingredients in the Recipes and Techniques Forum between now and October 26th. Our expert pie baker will test the recipes at her top-secret location. Yes, she really does own a military grade pie safe to keep our sticky fingers out until all the pies are ready! Submissions will be judged based on the following criteria: clarity of instructions, originality and flavor. Bonus points for creative recipe titles! The Neighborhood Fruit Girls will test them and announce the winners in the November's Grapevine. The prize is a Neighborhood Fruit branded apron and bragging rights for a full year! So, pie makers, fire up your ovens!
