Dragonfruit grow on a cactus with long, curved, rippled leaves. Dragon fruit is pink and has curved green soft thorns emerging from it.
Usage:
Dragon fruit are delicious fresh. They are good blended into smoothies or sauces.
Factoids:
In Taiwan the fruit is used as a substitute for rice by diabetics.
