Physical Description: 

Strawberry plants are creeping vines that hug the ground. They have green, ridged leaves with serrated edges.

Usage: 

Strawberries are physically delicate yet have powerful sweet and tangy flavor. They are great in beverages, as agua fresca, in jams and preserves, and in syrups. They are good in pies and as infusion for liqueurs.

Factoids: 

Strawberries have been used as symbols for millinea. In medieval Europe, strawberry designs carved into altars or on the top of columns symbolized perfection and tighteousness. The strawberry was also a symbol for Venus, the Roman goddess of love.
