The Tayberry - a cross between blackberry and raspberry - is a cultivated shrub and bears sweet dark red berry.

Usage: 

Most often eaten fresh, Tayberries are also great in jams and preserves and some people even make wine out if them!

Factoids: 

The fruit is named after the River Tay, which is the longest river in Scotland and carries the most volume of any river in the UK.
