Neighborhood Fruit is a proud contributor to the Urban Forest Mapping Project. The Project digitally pinpoints the location of each tree, maintains tree data in a consistent database, and offers web access to the tree data – key for maintenance and planting efforts.
The project has been made possible by collaboration of the Friends of the Urban Forest, the City and County of San Francisco, and Autodesk, by leveraging new technology – MapGuide Open Source.
When you register a tree, Neighborhood Fruit uses some of that information to contribute to the Urban Forest Mapping Project. Neighborhood fruit shares:
-
Diameter of the Tree Trunk
Type of Tree
Coordinates of the location calculated based on the address you have provided
Neighborhood Fruit does not share any of your personal information.
